10 tips for good health

1. Take part in outdoor activities like hiking, biking, mountain biking, walking, throwing Frisbees, doing squats and lungs in sand, surfing etc.

2. Do some group exercise like rock climbing, canoeing, bowling, yoga, tennis, salsa dancing etc.

3. Learn some skilled activities like in-line skating, golf, cross country skiing, ballroom dancing etc.

4. Clean out your pantry of processed and junk food. Take organic cereals, fruits, vegetables instead of cookies and crackers.

5. Eat bright colored fruits and vegetables like pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot and beans which have plenty of anti-oxidents.

6. Inculcate better eating habits in your children and keep only healthy foods in their lunch boxes.

7. Keep a list of your medical problems and medications you are taking. Always keep your doctor's name and numbers with you.

8. Keep track of your allergies and regularly visit your doctor for prevention.

9. Don't rely on scales instead the size of your waist is a better indicator of the state of your health.

10. Get enough sleep. A good night's sleep prevents / cures many ailments.
