Tips to control blood pressure
- The best way to control blood pressure is to lead a healthy life style.
- Take enough water, about 10-12 glasses a day. Start by taking 2-3 glasses when you leave the
bed in morning. Do not take water during meals.
- Avod alcohol, caffeine and tobacco.
- Quit smoking by reducing one cigarrate each day,
- Identify causes of tension and deal with them calmly.
- Do yoga and maditation daily and control your weight.
- Maintain your sleeping time and take adequate sleep daily.
- Have a good hearty laugh at least thrice a day. This has positive effect on mind and body.
- Eat fruits and vegetables rich in potassium,magnesium and calcium like banana, tomato,
potato,dried apricots, oranges, nuts, seeds, dried beans and peas.
- Reduce intake of salt, caffeine and sugar.
